little heroes

i was talking to someone about she-ra a few weeks ago and how she was a really awesome role model for little girls.  she led a rebellion of colorful characters (truthfully, glimmer was the real leader, she-ra just came in and stepped it up a notch) against an evil oppressive horde.  i thought about other heroes from my childhood.  jem- who as her alter ego jerrica runs starlight house, a foster home for girls, uses jem and the holograms to further the foundation's cause.  pippi- the strongest girl in the world who raised herself while her absent father sailed around the world.  wonder woman- who needs no introduction.  lastly, tank girl- she isn't one for charity, but with her don't fuck with me attitude and ferociously protective instincts of her booga and friends deserved a place too.  i wanted to make in mini a toy chest for a little girl armed with these heroes.  i made wigs and crowns from scratch and built the toy box and room.  the she-ra crown i am most proud of.  here is a breakdown of how it was made.
